Mould
A device consisting of a rectangular wooden frame across which is stretched a covering of wire to act as a sieve or STRAINER. The sheet of paper is formed on the surface by dipping the mould in a vat of fibres suspended in water which drains away through the cover when the MOULD is lifted out.
