We are sad to announce the death of a long-standing and loyal supporter of the Archive, Paul Jarvis.
Paul was a generous supporter of The Mills Archive since our charity first began operating.
He was also deeply involved in Crabble Corn Mill in Dover, where he worked as the Chairman of the Friends of Crabble Corn Mill and was also Head Miller there for a time.
We will remember him as a staunch ally, whose interest and donations have helped us continue to preserve the records of our milling heritage and to make them freely available.
May he rest in peace.
