Trusthorpe Mill, Mablethorpe

High resolution digital image from our catalogue

This copy of the postcard indicates that a 1/2d stamp is required. The postage rate for postcards rose to 1d in 1918, so the image presumably does not date from later than that year. There is a handwritten note on the front of the postcard written in ink giving the date of “July 1912”. However, it is not clear whether this is the date of production, the date of the now lost postmark or the date of acquisition.
