With an experienced crew the delay with a yacht is only a matter of minutes, while a a motor launch need only slow down. Yachting stations, with petrol pumps, hotels, and general stores have grown up around bridges like Ludham, and they are now favourite spots for mooring while boat and crew take on refreshment.”
