Donald W Muggeridge donated his collection of mill photographs and transparencies to the Templeman Library at the University of Kent at Canterbury. In a collaborative project we catalogued and uploaded scans of more than 400 selected photographs.

That part of the collection featured on the Mills Archive catalogue include the windmills of Dorset and Nottinghamshire; photographs of many traditional millers, and valuable interior views of many windmills that have since been lost.

From the 1930s onwards, Donald toured the country, photographing mills, often accompanied by fellow researcher H E S (Syd) Simmons. During the war years, as an army officer, Donald photographed many mills at home and abroad in colour transparency.
