In 1990 High Salvington Mill fought and won a planning against application to raise the roof of a house west of and adjacent to our mill…
…as it would affect the wind flow to the mill, by agreeing with the owners to not increase the roof height. We cited a Dutch report on wind flow, sent to us by Vincent Pargetter from SPAB.
In 2013 the same house was granted planning permission by Worthing Borough Council to raise the roof by 1.5 metres. No notification was given to surrounding properties of the planned alterations.
We are trying to fight this and would welcome any suggestions on the best approach, or names of people who might help. Please contact anyone at High Salvington if you think you can help.
