These thieves stole five millstones from one Sussex Windmill. It would appear that they are using a lorry and hydraulic lifting equipment, as there was no evidence that the millstones had been rolled using manpower. Anyone who may have recently seen ‘contractors’ moving millstones or who has seen 4-foot-diameter millstones for sale should either contact Sussex Police quoting reference 0326 9 Feb 2012 or contact us.
