After drooling over what I could find of it on Google Books, I ordered “Wind, Water, Work: Ancient and Medieval Milling Technology” by Adam Lucas through our inter-library loan. What a marvelous tome! Are you familiar with it? If not, go ahead and Google it and check out the table of contents. You’ll be impressed! It’s not inexpensive, about $270 list price. I have some exciting reading for the next few days!
