The only English village with two working post mills?

Author: Sussex Mill

On Thursday 23rd October 2008, Oldland Windmill ground flour for the first time in around 100 years. This post mill, along with Jack and Jill Windmills, is located in Hassocks, West Sussex. Jill Windmill has been grinding flour since 1986. On Saturday 9th May 2009 the sweeps of both Jill Windmill and Oldland Windmill turned in the breeze. A site not seen in the village for over a century
