Youth Sustainability Network (18 to 35s)

The Mills Archive Trust are currently supporting a group of young adults to work on various creative sustainability projects, as part of a wider commitment to sustainability education and engaging newer audiences. We believe that narrative is key in the face of global crises (climate change, food insecurity) and hope to empower more people to take control and educate one another on what sustainability looks like!

What is the Youth Sustainability Network?

  • A place to meet like-minded young people and work on exciting projects together

  • A space to explore new skills, e.g. publishing articles,  putting together exhibitions, working on a podcast

  • An opportunity to spread hope and learn more about sustainability issues

What are you currently working on?

We have begun working on the first issue of our zine, currently titled ‘The Optimist’ (subject to change) – our first issue is ‘Hunger’, and will be launching in April!

We have also begun working on a podcast series, interviewing guest speakers and reflecting on our research.
