The seventy first item is the old watermill of the small coastal village of Bosham located in the Chichester District of West Sussex, England. The original photograph was produced by E. H. Glover on 28th September 1928. A detailed description of the photograph is presented on the back of the image which is written in a later hand than that of Gardner. The description reads “The old water mill, Bosham. Sussex, showing part of the harbour in the middle distance. Tradition says that it was at Bosham that King Canute forbade the waves to advance. There are several Saxon remains in the quaint little church.” It is recorded that this photograph was the “copyright of E. H. Glover, 33 Fleet Street.”
