Handwritten note from H.A. Webster to Rex Wailes on the reverse reads, “Paris, May 31 1937. My dear Wailes, Very many thanks for yr letter and the copy of your article. I hope soon to send you another number of the Illustrations with some new drawings and an article by Baschet = I visited over 400 mills last summer: I am afraid that in spite of all efforts they are [doomed] to disappear within a relatively short period of years – Cordially always, H.A. Webster.”
