The sixty seventh item is a photograph of a mill which is entitled “Rhydebedog”. The identification of the precise location of this mill from this information has proved to be a somewhat difficult task. Nevertheless, it has become apparent through consulting the photographs of the Frank Gregory collection that this is Rhydbenllyg mill. When comparing the photographs of both collections, it is clear that this is the same mill. Therefore, one would imagine that “Rhydebedog” is an alternative version of the place name “Rhyd y benlog”; the title used for the previous photograph which clearly features the same mill. Rhyd y benlog or Rhydbenllyg is the name of a great valley and ford in Snowdonia ; at the heart of which this mill is situated. The photograph is undated.
