The forty first photograph is an image of the mill at Lower Kilcott farm located on the tributary of the Little Avon River just outside the Gloucestershire village of Hillesley. The image was produced in 1963 four years after Gardner’s death. On the back of the photograph is recorded the observation that “River dammed to join mill pond behind the mill.” “Avon” is written in large letters.
