Copy of old photograph. The smock mill at Regent’s Place, Ashford, was dismantled and re-erected at Badlesmere where it became Boundgate Mill. The photograph shows the mill – in its original white-painted form – being dismantled at Ashford. At Badlesmere it was tarred (LB 2006).
