Photograph of a penny farthing bicycle being ridden in a carnival procession in front of the Council Offices in Shute End between pavements lined with onlookers. Date assumed to be early 1950s as other photographs in this series show a float with Over Bros on its side, and the company became Witherington & Over in 1954.
