| Notes | Born c 1796. Mill built for Whistler around 1822. Lengthy dispute with London and Southampton Railway as they wished to purchase some of the land. Still milling in 1841, with journeyman miller also.By Dec 1841 mill advertised to be let or sold. By 1845 Whistler hadmoved to Sevington Farm Tichborne and was bankrupt. Died in 1858. |
