| Notes | Junior. Sept 1808 was trying to sell this windmill - not been erected very long. John Atwools, vicar of Fareham asked him to pay tithes on mill from date of erection. Porter replied unable to do so and mill had been built by him at great expense for his own private use as part of his factory that made biscuits for the Navy. Outcome uniknown. By 1813 when up for sale he seems to have given it up. |
