By 1822 listed in Pigot as miller, Appleton Gate. 28 June 1823 along with Thomas Boler sells a windmill and steam mill in Farndaon to William Davey for £1,000. 14 Feb 1823 Newspaper article from Stamford Mercury - trying to sell a post windmill situated half mile from znewark adjoining the Sleaford road. 1828-9 Pigot Directory - listed as Corn Miller, Appleton Gate. 1 June 1830 burial at Newark. His will stated that he left his windmill and all trappings at Beacon Hill to son William. |
