Converted, no machinery. A mill known as Coad's Mill stood here in the early part of the nineteenth century; in 1853 it was burnt down, but a substantial brick mill was constructed by Weeks of Maidstone a year later. In 1884 it was converted into a village hall and the machinery removed except for the waterwheel which was removed in 1922. The buildings survive converted into flats together with the mill weir, although there is no trace of any machinery, except for a dummy wheel. The mill had a water turbine.
