Wheel only. Probably standing on an ancient mill site, a tiny iron 4' 8" x 18" wide breastshot wheel lies here which powered a pump by a trip gear to a beam pump, to supply cottages opposite with water. The wheel remains, but the beam lay smashed in the river, in 1984. In 2007, the whole site was covered in vegetation, but the wheel could just be seen.
