Coltsford Mill, Hurst Green

The mill was owned by William Heasman and Sons Ltd, who also owned Oxted Mill. William Heasman (1837-1921) purchased the mill in c 1865. His second son Frank Heasman (1872-1954) later took on the running of the mill, which produced flour for bread as well as cattle feed. After Frank Heasman’s retirement c 1947 the mill passed to his son Wilf. In c 1966 Wilf opened a restaurant in the mill. It later became a wedding venue.
