On the River Swere, this mill was being used for Domestic purposes by the early 1980s. By then the head pond/feeder had been diverted. There was an iron 13 ft by 2 ft overshot wheel and lade, almost complete iron gear and upright shaft and two pairs of stones. The buildings were by then in a ruinous state.
This mill had a breastshot waterwheel.
