On the Windrush, this fine stone mill is now a conversion. Two pairs of stones plus items of gearing from this mill were removed for conservation purposes in the late 1970/early 1980 period. Paddles from a previous wheel have been used as piling to support the bank of an abandoned sluice.
This mill had a breastshot waterwheel.
