Pigstye and workshop range on the east side of the Nant-cae-fawr farmhouse. It probably dates from the early nineteenth century, and is built of local rubblestone with slate roofs. There are two blocks, the northern one of which was a workshop with a waterwheel in a chanel next to its east gable wall, the wheel now removed. There is an opening in the wall through which a shaft would have brought power into the building. It may have been built as a gorse mill.
