Steam Mill, Chester

A steam-powered corn mill in the historic county of Cheshire, England.

Steam Mill was built in 1786, for Samuel Walker, George Walker and Hugh Ley, Chester Corn and Flour Merchants. The mill was sold to Frost & Sons in 1819, and they built the present building alongside the canal. They also replaced the original steam engine in 1827.
