Baltic Flour Mill, Gateshead
The mill was constructed by Gelder and Kitchen for Joseph Rank Ltd in 1945. It closed in 1981. Most of the buildings were demolished, while the silos were converted into the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, opening in 2002.
