"The mill was leat fed and I am sure there was a further part of the building across the back of the building shown, it is very hard to tell what type of waterwheel it had as I believe the water levels down stream seem to have risen but looking at the bypass (under a patio now and wheel pit hole might well of been overshot. The building is gutted, but careful examination reveals an arch way a distance back from the building. The mill house remains." (Colin Smith, 2016)
