Frogwy Watermill, Bodffordd
There has been a watermill here since at least 1352, when it was mentioned in the Extent of Anglesey. The nearby windmill belonged to the same owners in the 19th century and was converted into a house while the watermill remained in operation. As well as grinding corn it drove machinery in the nearby farm by means of a 300m belt drive. The mill closed in 1948 and became a house.
