Flint Mill was a water-powered corn mill and is believed to have fallen into disuse by 1938. The pond lay adjacent to the south of the mill and took its supply from a weir across the Swinchiard Brook in a leat some 500m long. The pond and leat no longer exist and the mill has been converted to a dwelling.
