Grade II* Listed Dunster Castle Mill is very unusual since it has tandem twin overshot waterwheels both in working order. The leat is supplied by the neighbouring River Avill. One wheel still drives stones that produce stone-ground organic wholemeal flour on demand for a small number of retail outlets. The owners, The National Trust are currently looking into getting the second wheel (which was totally rebuilt over a year ago) driving a second set of stones. (Chris Green, NT Mill Volunteer).
