In 1086 Ravenstone Mill was attached to Bolebec Manor. By 1525, nearly everything in Ravenstone, including the mill, belonged to Cardinal Wolsey. Only the Mill house remains, the mill having been lost in the 1860s or 1870s, possibly by fire.
