On the River Windrush, in 1970 the complex comprised a fine group of stone buildings, including a house, cottage, farm buildings and mill. There was also a half-timbered granary. The undershot 12 ft by 5 ft water wheel was already missing and the mill had been gutted for use as a store. In the 1980s some lay-shaft gear remained. The wheel chamber was lined with gravestones. There was an auxiliary steam drive via a belt to an extended lay-shaft.
