On the Broadwell Brook, it is now used as a residence. Until 1970 and possibly beyond, the mill was operating as a straw-rope factory, powered by a 14 ft by 2 ft breast-shot metal wheel, which was still in position in the 1980s.
This mill had a breastshot waterwheel.
