On the Leach, this mill was working until about 1970. A 14 ft by 6 ft 6 inch breast-shot wheel drove three pairs of stones, via a layshaft, horizontal shaft and bevels. Local farm water was also pumped by an 8 ft over-shot metal wheel.
This mill had a breastshot waterwheel.
