A double mill - fulling and corn milling - from c1779 until c1822, afterwards corn milling only, both trades worked by the same family. Known as Twissell's Mill until c1850. John Baker senior worked the corn mill from c1781 after brother Thomas purchased the property. Son, John junior, took over the corn mill in 1809, apparently followed by Thomas junior by 1822 and then Thomas's younger brother , William, c1824. After c1855, William leased the mill to tenants until his death in 1876. Gloucestershire Archives holds a number of ledgers and account books relating to the mill and its accompanying farm, at reference D5685.
