Situated on the Letcombe Brook, in the early 1980s, this mill had a 17 ft 6 in by 4 ft 6 in metal wheel on a metal shaft, the assembly manufactured by Gibbons of Wantage. Excavations c 1980 had revealed a decayed smaller metal wheel, 11 ft by 6 ft, on a wooden shaft, by Guttridge of Wallingford. (Note: there is some uncertainty about the precise location of this mill. The map reference in Foreman – SU 390 373 – appears to be in error).
