Tower mill, Redditch
A wind-powered needle mill in the historic county of Worcestershire, England.

This windmill was built to attempt a horizontal windmill. It was built c. 1780, and the sails were located within a rectangular tower, where slits were put into the brickwork to admit the wind. It was used to drive the machinery used for making needles. The widmill did not work, and was converted to artisan dwellings.
