This was a threshing barn at Baccamore (or Baccamoor) farm with a waterwheel which powered threshing machinery. The waterwheel was overshot and cast by Bodley Brothers for Philip Veale, millwright of Walkhampton. The waterwheel was an addition to an existing building and appears to have been installed by 1886. The barn was damaged by fire in 1962 but continued to be used for storage until 2012. The barn was converted to a house and the waterwheel restored in 2019.
