The Inventory of the Ancient Monuments in Anglesey (1937) refers to two windmills in Pen-y-garnedd. The 1901 OS map shows a 'Windmill (pumping)' in this area - possibly a wind engine. No mill here is mentioned in Guise and Lees (2010).
