Post mill, Burton
A wind-powered corn mill in the historic county of Cheshire, England.

A datestone on the roundhouse bears the date 1771, although the mill may have existed prior to this as there are earlier references to mills in Burton. It ceased work after damage in a gale, c 1882. Much of the mill was gradually dismantled for firewood, leaving only the main post and roundhouse.
