This mill was moved from Mattila Farm, Raijala village, in the neighbouring Parish of Huittinen, and was provided with a new tailpole, sails and weather boarding. A nice weather cock surmounts the cap. The base of the tower is 18 ft. acros; there are two floor and clasp-armed frames at the first and dust floor levels. The curb was invisible and the extended cant posts centred the cap. The tower frame was cross-braced. It had been damaged by lightning before the mill was moved, and the damage had not been made good. The compass-armed brake-wheel has cogs with round shanks held with turned wood pins; the wallower is of wood, planked solid, and the upright shaft is of turned wood. The compass-arm great spur wheel has attached to its lower face a clasp-arm bevel wheel. Only one pair of stones remains, mounted on a hurst. There is a wooden stone-nut. The stone spindle has a pot and pintle bearing. The other pair of stones has disappeared but a peeling machine remains. The hurst consists of two heavy parallel beams to carry the stones, and lower beams of lighter section to carry the meal bin. The stone casings are octagonal; there is a hand-screw tentering to the stones. The meal is fed into a bin on the hurst.
