Known only from a photograph by E Mitford Abraham (EMAS-D-032), with title 'Site of Mill, Wallasey'. The location can be worked out from the features of the image (the distinctively-shaped pond, a train leaving the docks railway station behind, and the spire of St. James Birkenhead just visible in the distance), by comparison with historic maps. No mill is shown on the OS 25" map of 1873, so it must have disappeared before this (assuming Abraham was correct in thinking that there had been a mill here).
