No main author credited: chief text editors Jaap Verschoor and Paul Vesters. Illustrated with water-colour paintings and drawings. Foreword by Henk Lugtmeijer and Ysbrand Brouwers sr. of the two respective publishing foundations. 184 pages. The first chapter, by P.A.C. Beelaerts van Blokland, titled “Mills and landscape: a natural unity!” describes the inspiration given by mills in Utrecht province to artists and writers over the centuries.
