Scope & content | A pictorial history of the milling business of G. R. Wright & Sons at Ponders End, Enfield Middlesex. It began in 1867 with George Reynolds Wright who entered into partnership with John Dilly Young at Enfield Mill. He installed roller mills in 1895 and built a successful business. The end papers are copies of plans drawn in 1894 by E. R. & F. Turner of Ipswich of "the proposed arrangement for G. R. Wright Esq at Ponders End to produce 5 sacks of flour per hour". |
