    Brochure about the Aurora mill in Jork-Borstel in Lower Saxony, built in 1856 on the site of a mill dating from 1605, and restored in 1984.

    Each of the authors has contributed a section covering: monument conservation in the Stade area; Aurora, Countess of Königsmarck after whom it is named; the history of the mills in Borstel; the 1856 mill and its restoration; the tail beam.

    The book is copiously illustrated with a 1760 map of the area, a portrait of Aurora, historic photos of the mill and detailed photos taken during renovation along with a ground plan and cross-section and a cross-section showing how the tail beam works.
