| Scope & content | John Boyes sadly died on May 6th 2013. John was aged 98 and was a long standing member of the Section, joining in 1977 and serving as a committee member for many years. He was well known for his many talks on behalf of the Section on watermills, and, having been a Health and Safety officer up to his retirement, helped us a great deal with our first Health &Safety leaflet. John was also a long-standing member of the Newcomen Society. |
