| Scope & content | The Utrecht Landscape Foundation manages 22 of the remaining 35 mills in Utrecht. Flour mills grind grain whilst the polder mills power electric pumps to keep the land dry. The Artists of Nature Foundation inspired by these monuments have sketched and painted the mills and machinery in the landscape that surrounds them.
