We are recruiting for a paid position that is central to our new HLF-funded project, Quern to Computer.
We are looking for someone to coordinate and promote the development and implementation of the learning and engagement aspects of the Quern to Computer programme, in particular the coordination and delivery of an online timeline and the management and promotion of the National Flour Mill Survey public initiative.
The Learning and Engagement Manager will work with the Archive team to promote the archive to a range of audiences, liaising with external individuals and groups and to help build relationships with similar organisations, particularly with mills.
With excellent communication and IT skills, the postholder will be a graduate ideally with knowledge of the heritage sector, experience of working in an educational role and with a demonstrable ability to drive interest and involvement through a sustained publicity campaign.
The role is part time and fixed term (approximately 22 months). The salary is £31,025 pro rata based on 2 days per week, throughout a year.
To discuss the role and for instructions on how to apply, please email me at Liz.Bartram@millsarchive.org
We intend to recruit during September, so applications are advised to be submitted no later than 31st August 2015.
