Last year, the William Scott Abott Trust received over £1 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund to restore the watermill on the farm and country centre site.
You can watch a fascinating clip of a time-lapse video showing the recent restoration work taking place so far on the site in Cambridgeshire. Each day the installed camera has been taking a photo of parts of the mill currently hidden from sight under tarpaulin.
Visit their blog here to watch this intriguing footage and to keep up-to-date with their latest news on the mill’s restoration. The photo we’ve used on this blog is taken from Sacrewell’s own blog post.
Sacrewell Watermill is a Heritage Partner and you can read more about the mill on our featured mill page here.
